Bente Hansen chosen to be a charter member of the Advisory Council on Biotechnology Education

 

California State University – San Marcos was founded in 1989 as the 20 th CSU campus. Under the leadership of Al Kern, Ph.D., the university has developed a strong biotechnology major with a foundation in molecular biology, immunology and biochemistry as well as exposure to management, marketing, accounting. Product development and regulatory affairs.

 

Cal State San Marcos plans to help the growth of bioscience in Southern California by providing highly educated employees at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

 

The Advisory Council on Biotechnology Education is composed of 13 – 15 industry executives who advise CSUSM on implementing biotechnology programs and initiatives to meet community and workforce needs.
